Visit to IEM Secretariat and YES 2018

IEM-USM Student Section has sucessfully organized a visit to IEM Penang Secretariat on 8 December 2018. The visit was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lau Tze Liang, the advisor of IEM-USM Student Section, and accompanied by 14 IEM-USM Student Section executive council members and student members. The purpose of this visit is to interact and network with experienced and young engineers from IEM Penang Branch. 

The event started with the presentation made by the advisor of IEM-USM Student Section introducing IEM-USM Student Section, the present executive council members, the past activities in 2018 and the issues and challenges of IEM-USM Student Section. It was followed by a dialogue to further discuss two main collaboration projects, i.e. IEM YES National Summit 2019 and ENGINNOVATE 2019. It was a great experience for the participants to have interaction with the professional and young engineers from IEM and YES.
