Alumni Sharing Session: Talk on BIM using Revit
IEM-USM Student Section has organized its first Alumni Sharing Session with a talk entitled “Building Information Modeling (BIM) using REVIT” on 28 September 2016. The talk was delivered by Mr. Tan Kang Chin, a consulting engineer from M.E.I. Project Engineers Sdn Bhd. The speaker is a graduate from the School of Civil Engineering in 2014. There are more than 50 participants including academic staff attended this talk.
The talk focused on the theoretical background of BIM and its application using Revit software. The speaker has also shared his working experience during this talk. The participants have benefited from this alumni sharing session. Special gratitude goes to the organizing committee led by Cheah Yi Ben with his team members consisting Tung Wen Yan, Chong Hong Rui and Chan Wai Kit for making this event a successful one.
