2D1N Trip to Kuala Lumpur

IEM-USM Student Section, together with USM ASCE Student Chapter, have successfully organised a 2D1N trip to Kuala Lumpur on 2 and 3 April 2018. A total of 30 civil engineering students have participated in this trip. The trip included visit to Putrajaya Dam and Sri Empangan Bridge, construction site in Bukit Jalil and KVMRT Project Gallery. This is the first time of event in collaboration with USM ASCE Student Chapter for IEM-USM Student Section.

The trip was aimed to expose civil members and students to various fields in civil engineering such as structural, geotechnical and environmental. It has enhanced students’ knowledge and introduced them further in civil engineering field through practical visits. Our participants had a fruitful experience and gain from this trip. Special gratitude to Malton Berhad, MMC-Gamuda and Perbadanan Putrajaya who have welcomed our visit.
