Technical Visit to University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus and Univ360 Place

IEM-USM Student Section has successfully conducted a technical visit to IEM-UNMC Student Section in Semenyih and Univ360 Place in Seri Kembangan on April 21. A total of 25 participants from USM have joined this visit. 

The visit stated with campus tour guided by Chai Chuan Jun. Then both IEM Student Sections met and exhanged views on the organization structure and activities. The visit ended with a game prepared by IEM-UNMC Student Section.

In the afternoon, the group visited Univ360 Place, an architecture award winning contemporary green building in Seri Kembangan. The project was designed by Atelier Alan Teh Architect. The senior architect from the design firm, Mr. Chaw Boon Kit, shared with the participants the innovative design of green features and the challenges in its construction. This visit has provided a good platform for future engineers interact and learn from architect.
