Technical Visit to ICP

A technical visit to Industrial Concrete Products Sdn. Bhd. (ICP) in Jawi on Sept. 22 was conducted for School of Civil Engineering students. There were 38 students participated the visit.

The visit was headed by Ir. Chan Huan Ong. Students had a chance to visit the incorporation process of pretensioned system into the pile, which is an alternative solution to offer an economical foundation system, compared tto ordinary concrete piles.

By visitng ICP, the market leader in concrete pile, students got to know the latest state-of-the-art technology in cating, steam curing as well as the pouring of concrete.
